Flexible and durable for accurate 3D printing

MakerBot Tough PLA Filament is as durable as ABS. However, it’s also more resistant to warping during the printing process, which ensures you get a more accurate result that is truer to the original CAD file than ever.

Designed for use with the new Tough PLA Smart Extruder+, featured on the new Makerbot Replicator+, the Slate Grey Tough material lets you create longer-lasting objects that are more flexible and harder-wearing than those made using PLA. This makes them impact resistant and able to withstand flexing and folding for longer, so are more representative as a test print before switching to a full-size 3D production machine.

The new material is particularly suited to creating functional prototypes and for prototyping jigs and fixtures with threaded and snap fits, where accuracy is key.
